Governor orders probe of Khabarovsk Airlines after plane crash
KHABAROVSK, Nov 15 (PRIME) -- Russia’s Khabarovsk Region Governor Vyacheslav Shport has ordered internal examination of Khabarovsk Airlines after a crash of a small passenger aircraft earlier on Wednesday, the regional government said in a statement.
The airline’s L-410 aircraft en route from Khabarovsk to the village of Nelkan crashed while landing at around 6:00 a.m. Moscow time killing six people. One child has survived.
The Transport Ministry said a special commission of the local branch of the Federal Agency for Transport Oversight will probe Khabarovsk Airlines.
